Reclaim the NHS was formed in May 2022 following a very successful meeting in Woolwich and online. The core of the group was formed from Greenwich Save our NHS. and Reclaim the NHS now has activists from across south east London, including Greenwich, Bexley, Bromley and Lewisham.
We campaign to take back our NHS as a publicly owned, publicly funded and publicly provided service.
- Healthcare must be based on need not profit. It must be publicly provided, by an NHS which pays decent wages and insists on good standards.
- Bring services back in house, cancel all debts, fill all staff vacancies, stop the leeching of NHS-trained staff to the private sector.
We are leafletting twice a week (weather permitting) at General Gordon Square, Woolwich (Saturday, 11:30am – 1pm), and at the main entrance of Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Monday, 1l:00pm – 12:30pm).
