Hospitals in England reducing staff and services as part of NHS ‘financial reset’

Please read the previous BBC News post on this “financial reset” https://reclaimthenhs.org/2025/05/09/nhs-plans-unthinkable-cuts-to-balance-books/. Where is the duty of care to the public in England when there are massive waiting lists and reduced access to health services? CEO Sir Mackey of NHS England is applying a spreadsheet business mentality to a service already in deep trouble. Fragmented, reorganised over and over, purposely weakened to faciliate privatisation by government after government, loaded with PFI debt, expensive private outsourced services, understaffed and with many rundown facilities these actions will not improve the proper standard of NHS care for everybody. Where are our MPs and Local Governments calling this out and demanding proper health care provision for their residents?
